Laurie McDowell
Hello! My name is Laurie McDowell and I am a multi-disciplinaryinterested artist. I have a passion for creating art using pen and ink, which I often complement with illustrative work. I draw inspiration from nature and love to incorporate post-consumerism materials in my creations.
My art is playful and quirky, much like my personality and style. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and techniques to create unique and eye-catching pieces. Whether it’s a detailed portrait or a whimsical illustration, I put my heart and soul into each piece I create.
Aside from my art, I am a happily married individual with three wonderful adult children. I reside in the beautiful hills of Central Missouri, where I find inspiration in the natural surroundings. In terms of education, I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Design, which has helped me hone my skills and push my creativity to new heights.
